One of my first attempts at reverse dyeing, aka bleach dye or discharge dye. The shirt was black to begin with. Bleach is applied, allowed to remain for a short period of time, then rinsed and neutralized. Then the different colors of dye are applied using the ice dye method.
I preshrink all of my items before dying and they are washed again in warm afterward dyeing. The dyes are colorfast and will not bleed, but I do recommend cold water wash separately for the first time. They can be thrown right in the dryer or line dried, your choice.
